Starting today until 23rd of May or this coming Sunday, The world best budget airline, AirAsia of Malaysia is giving away Free seats to all destinations within its route map! This zero fares offer does not include airport tax, check-in baggage, on-board meal and seat selection. However, it is still tremendous value to have free tickets for most of its destinations especially for AirAsia X flights to Australia, UK or China.

Book your flights in advance during this period and fly to your destinations FREE between 3rd January to 8th May next year 2011 .

If you want to travel to Europe next Spring, grab your free seats now online! Last November, I managed to grab some cheap tickets, though not free, for my recent trip to London and subsequently other parts of central Europe countries last week. Spending RM1,900.00 on a AirAsia X Airbus A340 flight Return Tickets to London inclusive checked-in baggage, on-board meal and seat selections were truely fantastic value that I have just experienced!

Go ahead NOW and try your luck as the airline website is too busy to surf and book smoothly. You might need to try and try and try again to complete your booking process! Try to get access during midnight when traffic is lower. Good Luck! – Travel Feeder, the ultimate travel blog

p/s: I’m not attached to AirAsia airline in any way. I’m just a big fan of budget airline which benefits people like me with limited budget but passionate to travel.

My Big Day is finally here. Labour Day? Nope. What I’ve been planning since last year is going to happen. I’m taking an AirAsiaX flight this morning to fly to London! London is my starting and ending point of this Europe tour.

Here is my final Western Europe Sightseeing Tour itinerary:

From LCCT to London >

From London to Paris >

From Paris to Amsterdam >

From amsterdam to Venice >

From Venice to Florence >

From Florence to Pisa >

From Pisa to Rome >

From Rome back to London >

From London back to LCCT, Sepang.

Am I ready to fly? Flight is 9:20AM and I’m still here writing this at 2:00AM. I’m so excited to be able to visit Europe again after 13 years. I hope this would be a interesting and full of excitement kinda self travel.

I bet this is the hottest topic now. Is it still safe to travel to Bangkok or Thailand now? I think this is also the toughest question to be answered. Over 11 Millions of travelers around the world visiting Bangkok each year, not far less than the figure of Paris and London. Many of us love Bangkok. We love its temples, Wat, palace, its culture, foods, shopping, weather, people and some love its red light districts. It is one of the best travel destination for any type of tourists. It is also used to be among the safest place to visit with least mugging and robbery happening to tourists. But what’s now?

Hundreds of ‘Red Shirt‘ protesters and demonstrators fought their way into Bangkok main roads near the Phan Fah bridge and Rajdumnoen Road yesterday and troops of army were deployed to stop the ‘red sea’ but created the worst political violence of Bangkok in 18 years. Hundreds people wounded and 15 were killed in the violence, included a Japanese jounalist who worked as Reuters TV cameraman in the clash, as reported in the news yesterday.

What travelers concern especially now is whether Bangkok is still the travel destination to visit? Though no life bullets were used against the ‘Red Shirt’ protesters, tear gas bombs were still thrown into them while ‘Red Shirt’ demonstrators were armed with petrol bombs and grenades. Windows shattered and car smashed were what happened to the public. Roads were closed and hotels were barricaded. Khao San Road, an area popular with back-packing tourists were threatened into riot. Can you insist that travelers are still safe to visit Bangkok especially now?

I used to say ‘Yes‘ to the same question during their 2008 crackdown before. Not anymore. When I read about the death of a foreign journalist due to yesterday’s violence, I’ve changed my answer to a big ‘NO NO‘. They seemed to have lost their mind and once ‘travelers-safe’ demonstrations is now dangerous to tourists and public. So I would suggest travelers to stay away from at least Bangkok for the time being, until Thai ruling government could resolve their internal affairs and the influences of their fugitive former premier, Thaksin Shinawatra. – Travel Feeder, your ultimate travel photo blog.

15 days of Chinese lunar new year celebration is finally over. The Chinese Valentine’s Day or YuanXiao (元宵) was the last celebration on the 15th Day or yesterday. Everything is back to normal today. Shopping malls stopped playing back New Year songs. All new year decorations around town have been dismantled. I’m reluctantly back to work now! As my life will go on, a last piece of photo taken during the new year celebration is posted here as a conclusion to my celebration.

As usual, I took the shot with Nikon D60 and Nikkor 35mm lens. Firing a direct fill flash helped balancing those shadow areas nicely and 1/200s fast sync shutter speed proved to be useful to freeze their action. To avoid my wife from murmuring me, I’ve added some soft skin effect to hide some of the blemishes! Haha!

I love this portrait. It was captured in Genting Highland during CNY this year. A strong feel of Chinese New Year with Cherry blossom as background. Smiles from both Jean and Chloe’s face look wonderful to me. Hope you like it too. That’s it for the Year of Tiger! – Travel Feeder, the ultimate travel photo blog RA9WE4S9YPVR

If you have read my previous post about TianHou Temple at night and FGS DongZen Temple at day last year, this is an update to the same places but in different time of day!

What are the 2 things dominated temples during Chinese New Year? Bingo! It’s lanterns and incense. Here are some photos captured in Tian Hou Temple…

There were people all over the temple who came here for prayer, devotion, site seeing, lantern watching, photo taking and so on…

What you could see from the above photos other than lanterns are lanterns or else lanterns. Have you got enough?

In the evening, we travelled for 1 and a half hour to another temple in Jenjarom, near Banting, Selangor. It’s DongZen Temple. Parking were all full and we needed to parked our car 2 blocks away. DongZen temple is the uprising destination during Chinese New Year because of it’s attractive lighting at night. Many people come here merely for it light decorations every year. I’m one of them…

All decorations with lighting are creatively designed and constructed with steel frame and thin cloth.

As there were so crowded inside the compound, I did not take many photos indeed. These are just some introduction images to DongZen Temple at night. The traffic was so jam when we left the place and guess what? We reached home at 1:30am!

Today is the 11th Day of Chinese New Year. There are still 4 days for whoever interested to see all these lighting and lanterns at these 2 temples. And I’m still have 4 days to celebrate this Chinese New Year of Tiger. GONG XI FA CAI – Travel Feeder, your only travel photo blog.
