Moules, moules. I love moules, or mussels. The first food I thought of tasting in Brussels was definitely mussels. In Belgium, mussels are normally served with french fries, so they call it “moules frites”. The best way of cooking mussels is to boil or steam it with fresh herbs and flavorful vegetables in a stock of butter and white wine.

Brussels Mussels

There are too many restaurants serving mussels in Brussels especially areas around Grand Place. Beenhouwersstraat or Rue des Bouchers is a pedestrian street full of seafood restaurants along both sides, which is only 3 minute walk north of the Grand Place. Mussels are always served in bowl for a price of €12 per bowl in average. They look ugly but taste marvelously yummy! A must try local delight in Brussels! :) Travel Feeder, your ultimate guide to Europe travel

This travel photo was shot a few months ago at Passeig de Gracia, Barcelona. It was a gorgeous shopping street with beautiful building design and remarkable image as an upmarket shopping alley. The tourist attraction, Casa Batlló, a creation of Antoni Gaudi, is also here in Passeig de Gracia. Unfortunately, the view has changed. Violent [...]

What will you eat in Barcelona? Definitely the Spanish Tapas or Las Tapitas. One of the fun part of traveling is the opportunity to taste the authentic local dishes from that destination. Eventhough we can still taste most of the popular national dishes from different countries at our home land, but the experience of having the same dish at its origin country is priceless. One of the local [...]
