A lesser-known landmark in Barcelona, Arc de Triomf (Triumphal Arch) is a huge entrance archway that built in conjunction with the Barcelona World Expo in 1888. I was first confused it with the other much more famous and tourists attracted Triumphal Arch in Paris as they share the same name, but soon realised they are actually a totally different structure with different design, size and purposes.

Some EXIF info: Photo taken with my Nikon D7000 and Nikkor 18-105mm lens. Shutter speed 1/500sec and Aperture f5.6. Focus distance was set to 105mm. ISO 100. Auto White Balance. No flash fired and -1/3EV exposure being compensated with Matrix metering.

It was a beautiful sunny morning on the 4th day of my travel to Barcelona when I took this photo. I zoomed it back from far distance at the other side of the pedestrian walkway. Shooting photos at the telephoto end of your camera zoom lens can create a narrow view plane between front and back objects that give viewers a different kind of impression of the scene, which is refreshing! :)Travel Feeder, your ultimate photo travel blog
