Beautiful Sunset

My new toy really got me crazy for the past week. All my leisure has been spent on photo shooting, camera setting, feature testing, trying hard to learn more on photography by reading photo magazine and also surfing net for beautiful photo shots by other experts (regretfully little on blogging :( ). While searching for great photos, I found this great shot from a great city which I have missed out so far and it is Key West Island in the southernmost part of Florida, US. Key West is a vacation destination for energetic and sporty travelers who love watersport and offshore fishing.

Sunset at Key West

This island is only about 4 miles (6.4 km) long and 2 miles (3.2 km) wide. Despite its relatively small size, Key West Island is so fascinating that 1st time visitors who come here could never imagine that so much things could be done here; From land activities of historical site seeing, wandering about aquarium, museum, shopping mall to water activities of scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing, kayaking and fishing. Key West Fishing is especially interesting to me where offshore fishing guarantees for successful returns with an abundance of fish such as marlin, sailfish, mahi-mahi, tuna, wahoo, cobia, and king mackerel if you know their names.

Duval Street

Having tropical weather all year round with very little rainfall, any time of the year is perfect for a vacation on this very special island. For me, blue sky and bright sun certainly interests me most. Sunset cruise is also the main tourists attraction where vacation travelers could admire the beautiful sunset on board with a drink and relax while looking out for dolphins, turtles, and sea birds. There are also celebrations being held regularily at Mallory Square where cruise are docked and Duval Street where is home for famous dining and fashion outlets.

Mallory Square

From photos that I extracted from other Key West information websites, it shows that Key West is the perfect place to take lots of photos with my new toy(I’m so crazy about photo taking nowadays albeit quantities are more than quality :( ). I’m so tempted to visit there perhaps as a feeder trip to my dream vacation to Miami’s South Beach, one day! – Travel Feeder.

Mooncake Last Sunday, on the 15th Day of August in Lunar calender, was our Chinese descendants’ Mid-Autumn Festival or Mooncake Festival. Previous years, our family would gather togehter for dinner at our parents’ house. After the dinner, my brothers and sisters would be chatting all in’s and out’s while our children playing their lanterns and candles. However, it was not quite the same this year with some disasterous events (among others, Jean was disgnosed as having Acute Appendicitis and admitted into hospital) which I would rather forget them all in no time. Thanks to the harvest moon, there was at least one thing that I could still be consoled with: An additional of 13 travel links were successfully featured in Travel Feeder after 3 days!

In the afternoon of Mid-Autumn Festival, I was having high tea at my balcony, eating mooncakes while reading through all the featured travel blogs of Travel Feeder. To my surprise, They are all great websites providing such an unique travel tips and information for me. For those who are following us, these are the latest links addition of Travel Feeder:

1) Travel Blogs

  • Let’s Go.co.in
  • Aaron Georgie Happy Time;
  • Mobile Travel Blog;
  • Thai Kitchen;
  • Travel Guide Thailand;
  • Tan Homestay;
  • Corner Turn;
  • Hands For Help Nepal Blog;
  • My Itchy Travel Feet;
  • Eye Flare, and
  • King Vacation.

2) Travel RSS Feeds

  • Eye Flare.

Apart from all the disappointing incidents on that day, we still celebrated our Mid-Autumn Festival happily without the bright moon in our sky, but, with these great travel blogs instead. Without which this year’s Mooncake Festival celebration was truely meaningless, except the occasional desert, mooncake.

I have dedicated the last whole week for this link promotion in Travel Feeder and have received tremendous supports from all of you. We should now resume back to our normal blogging page while keeping the link promotion alive in background until one day that I think it’s enough. Please come back for this coming Travel By Photo trip to Cameron Hingland, very soon. You may subscribe RSS Feed To Travel Feeder here for free latest updates of Travel Feeder. Again, thank you very much and Happy belated Mooncake Festival. - Travel Feeder.

I’m not self-promoting, mate! I’m just being an observer viewing from a helicopter at those popular travel blogs in the blogophere and I’m also trying hard to learn from them too! My conclusion is those popular travel blogs have certain common characteristics and features and I hope my finding here could be a preliminary guide [...]
