Time passes so fast. It has been slightly more than a month since Travel Feeder was created in June 2008. While it is still fresh, I really appreciate comments from all over the world that would inspire me more to improve the quality of this travel blog. For a 1-month-old travel blog, Travel Feeder has successfully posted 23 original articles on Travel Tips, Travel guides, Summer Travel Experiences, Top 5′s of Travel and so on. Out of that,  over 60 positive comments have been received from all over the world, not to mention reviews from other travel blogs. It is extremely encouraging with those comments and reviews and I’m totally flattered. It just strengthened Travel Feeder’s Motto: Maximize Our Travel enjoyment, Minimize Our Budget and Enrich Our Limited Holidays.

As part of Travel Feeder’s ‘Top 5 Of The Month’ series, we decided to summarise and list down here the Top 5 Travel Feeder’s Commentators Of The Month for August 2008, to have a little appreciation move for my great travel community. Here are the Top 5:-

  1. Eunice – She is Travel Feeder Top Commentator! She inspired me the most as she is my loyal reader of every post and commented 7 of them. I appreciated her great support all this while and here is one of her comment: ‘Wow! I didn’t know that there are 4 UNESCO sites in Malaysia! And 1 is on the way…Travel Feeder heheh. One of the most beautiful places on earth is actually so near to us! Good, since it’s so expensive to travel around, I think it’s time for us to appreciate the little beauties around us! I am looking forward to your next Top 5! Thanks for sharing! :D‘. On top of that, I really felt proud as she is the author of a popular travel blog, Travelerfolio!;
  2. Heather Dugan – She is my second top commentator so far, and she is cathing up. Here are some of her comments: ‘I’m glad to have found your site! The Moscow and Seoul photos are especially good; great lighting!”Good list. Mine also includes my camera, batteries and charger… and running shoes (”necessities” that I can’t/won’t buy on a trip). I’m not as thorough on the phone numbers. I bring the ones relevant to a current trip but probably need to keep one with some of the other numbers you mention as a printable computer list.’. She has a great blog as well at HeatherDugan.com;
  3. Mark H – He is my great supporter as well. Here are some words from him:’I like the idea of “top 5″ and wish you luck with your blog.”i have been to three of the five cities and I agree that they were very expensive in comparison with other cities. Great Moscow photo.’. For more stories from Mark, he is running a travel blog called Travel Wonders;
  4. Renny BA – I really glad to have his gracious comments. Here are some words he said:’Great advice of important things to bring on trip. Maybe one should had: A Map for helping you wondering around on new places ;-)‘, and he is from Norway. For those who wants to visit OSLO and Norway, you should visit his blog, Trella.no, and
  5. Air Travel Tips – The author of Karannaidoo.com (the site is no longer existence as of 2011), his comment just made me unsleepable: ‘I found your blog via Google while searching for air travel tips and your post regarding New Features of WordPress V2.6 looks very interesting to me. I could not believe the amount of quality material on this site. The site is extremely eyecatching and pulls the reader straight it, the articles are great quality and are very professionally written. I have seen too many of these sites where it looks like they pay an 8 year old to do the writing – Not this one. Your site is easily the best that I have seen in a long while.’

Comments are open for all my readers, either positive or negative, and comments are important to Travel Feeder for its continuous improvement and upgrades. Though there are only Top 5 commentators listed above, all other comments are also unforgettable and inspiring that I hope I could include all of them here…. :)Travel Feeder, your ultimate photo travel blog

This is the follow up post of my previous popular article: Top 5 Things To Do Before Your Vacation Travel. Although many travelers would have ideas of what they are going to do on their vacation travel, some may have too much idea in their mind but too little time during that short period of vacation tour. For some other travelers, they have done so many things during their trip but missed out some other important stuffs that they regreted for rest of their life, to one extreme. Off course, some would argue that they could always visit there again for things that they haven’t done during their first travel, but, how many of us could have this second chance in our life?

Perhaps, missing something not done is no big deal to some of you. If that’s the case, you should stop continue reading the rest of this article. Hmm… alright, maybe there is another reason for you to continue reading this post, he..he… There are things that travelers should do, IF, you want to enjoy your trip to the fullest. You will not wish to leave out something that might disrupt you whole vacation travel, or at least spoil your travel mood. As Travel Feeder‘s Motto: Maximize Our Travel Enjoyment, Minimize Our Budget and Enrich Our Limited Holidays.

Agreed? So all of you should read on these Top 5 Things To Do On Your Vacation Travel below:- :)

  1. Put all aside except the vacation trip – First of all, you must set you mind focusing it to only the tour. If not forgetting, leave other things behind you at least temporarily. You won’t be able to enjoy your holidays with all the problems and worry in your mind, such as your job issue, business problem, family difficulties and others. Please remember that all of us have no-end problems in our life. However, all of us must also need a break before we could move on. Life is short but tiring. So don’t waste your time on vacation. Off course, in order to achieve that, you need to plan well before you travel; arranging assistance to you works, warden to your home and your children (if not going along);
  2. Keep all your eyes on yor passport, air ticket and wallet – When you are on your travel, especially abroad, make 100% sure that your passport and air ticket are secure, if not wallet. At least you will still be able to fly back to your country. After all, either of these being stolen or dropped will definitely disrupt your vacation. You will only be able to spend your holidays in the local police station, immigration office and banks (you still can see it as unforgettabe experience as normal travelers would not visit these places :) );
  3. Take as many photographs as possible – I got the lesson personally when I left Brussel and Amsterdam without taking enough photos for my album and I regreted it since then for the past 10 years till now! Photos are permanent memories of your travels, not your brain. You could only refresh every single scene by looking back your photos. Yes I meant every single scene! So the more photos you take now the more detail parts of your travel you could refresh after 10 years or more;
  4. Learn what the locals are doing – If you want to really appreciate your vacation travel to other countries or cities, you should try following what the locals are doing. It would be most fun lying on the huge beer garden during summer, taking large mugs of German beer, enjoying the sunshine and the crowd, just like what other Germans are doing; Or even flying beautiful and colourful kites in the botanic garden every Sunday evening like what our Malaysian are doing. Once you learn the local culture you will appreciate more on your travel, and
  5. Drink as much water as you possibly can – When you are on your vacation travel, it would be frustrating and irritating if you fall sick. It is not unnormal as we walk too much, eat too much but sleep so less and drink so little, during our travel. In order for you to try as much local activities and foods as possible, you should also drink more water to keep your fitness. This is one crusial way to fight the drastic change of weather from your home country to the country of your vacation travel!

These are the Top 5 Things, in my opinon and from my experience that, you must do on your every vacation travel, if you want to have a memorable and exciting trip. However, you might think of others and your comments are most welcome! But if you like this article, you should consider to subscribe my feeds for more tips in my coming entries. Cheers! – Travel Feeder.
