I wouldn't have guessed it. I haven't been to Lone Pine since I was a kid myself and I don't remember feeding the rainbow lorikeets there (I do recall feeding kangaroos and cuddling koalas and the like as your photos illustrate so well). Ha Ha Mark, actually I’ve been expecting your answer as I know you’re from somewhere around ‘there’! And I tell you that you ALMOST got it right but you’ve not Apart from Currumbin wildlife sanctuary, there’s another sanctuary in Queensland featuring this Lorikeet feeding that I’ve been to…. You should know by now, Mark! Good try!

Ha ha! I used to visit this place as a kid. It is Currumbin Bird Sanctuary on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. Every day, visitors get to feed these semi-tame birds. Noisy but fun. Mark Hs last blog post..Bacon Beer and Bishops (Bamberg, Germany)
