If you missed the 1st round of Air Asia Sale on 23rd May 2011, this is your another chance: Air Asia Big Thank You Sale! As the campaign’s title suggests, this is an appreciation sale for its customers who have been supporting them for the past year to make Air Asia the world’s Best Low Cost Airlines of year 2011 (or just another marketing strategy).

Air Travelers can start booking from 12th July midnight until 17th July 2011, for their flights departing during 6th February and 20th June next year in 2012. This should include air tickets for both Air Asia and Air Asia X flights. Just bear in mind one thing that Air Asia has introduced fuel surcharge to its fares which is excluded in this RM3 promotional price.

As usual, this promotional RM3.00 air fares is the minimum fare you could get for the period and it is just the basic air fare. Passengers will still need to pay extra for airports taxes, fuel surcharge, checked-in baggage, insurance, meal on board and other special arrangement like pick-a-seat service. Make sure you check everything until you see the full fare before booking. In most circumstances, Air Asia full fares are always much cheaper than the other full service airlines, except for a few occasions when Air Asia lost out to MAS.

Check out Air Asia website tonight to try your luck. I’m going to try my luck to see if I could grab cheap tickets to Tokyo next Spring to view Cherry Blossom! :)Travel Feeder, your ultimate travel photo blog
