Their are a lot of people that choose to take all inclusive trips around the world. A high majority have stated that they would do the same trip or a trip like it again. Personally, it saves a lot of money because the travel agents are able to negotiate rates that a independent traveler will not be able to get.

Interesting photos. I can't wait to see all your others!

Yes, group traveling is difficult. It has it's advantages, but mostly I prefer not to do group tours. I can agree to do them in certain places, like Rio de Janeiro for example. We've done a 5 days bus tour on Ireland once though that I regret. We would have seen much more if driving around for ourselves.

...and on top of that: the old people on the bus, were much more energetic than we were! I couldn't believe my eyes how energetic some of them were!

Heavens, you are brave! I did one such thing years and years and years ago in Turkey - and that was that. I even didn't go to Yemen because at that time only group travellers were aloud to enter the country - and I was INVITED. I just couldn’t bare the thought of being herded around like whining toddlers on an excursion. Tough you have a point; if traveling with the elderly or unseasoned travelers, that’s maybe the best way to do it. But then again, I’d probably send them on their own, bitch that I am :-)
