My Japan travel – Brief report in Kawaguchiko, Fuji five Lakes

From Tokyo we continued our journey to Kawaguchiko in Fuji Five Lakes region of central Japan. The local weather continued to be chilly with temperature dropped to 0°C at night. We spent a night at one of the onsen hotel to enjoy the view of Mt. Fuji as well as hot spring bath. On arrival at Kawaguchiko train station, we went up Mont Tenjo nearby by Kachi Kachi Ropeway to overview the surrounding area from the observation deck, which include Mt. Fuji and Kawaguchiko Lake.

Kawaguchiko - Mt Fuji at dawn

After checking in, we changed our clothes to local Japanese Yukata and ran straight into the 24-hour hot spring bath to relish ourselves after a week of exploring Kyoto and Tokyo!

At night, we had Shabu-Shabu set dinner at the hotel which was marvelous! On the next morning, before our breakfast, we had another round of pleasant time soaking in the Onsen bath. That was it. We spent most of our time relaxing in the hotel facing the Kawaguchiko lake and Mt. Fuji. It was what we planned for and achieved satisfactorily, albeit spending over ¥21,000 for a night.

We were then on our way to Osaka, for the second time after 6 months! Why we love Osaka so much? Stay coming back for the story. 🙂 – Travel Feeder, the ultimate travel photo blog.
