These are beautiful photos. In the tropics they grow so well. I remember someone telling me that left over beer on orchids is really good for them because of the sugar. Not so much luck growing them down here in the Sunshine Coast although we have some gorgeous sub-tropical plants in our botanical gardens. Great use of the lighting in your shots. Wow you gave a photographic tour of the Orchid Garden. Beautiful lily photo.

I often visit the Orchid Garden for photoshoot and each time I am there, I end up with different images of the orchids on display. I was there for the 4th time about two weeks ago and there were prize winning orchids on display. I had quite a field day with many wonderful photos of the orchids. I only realized there were purple lilies that day but didn’t shoot them as there were a group of guys hogging the spot with tripods.
