Travel Snapshot – Louvre Palace in Paris

Louvre Palace is a huge square complex consisting of buildings that constructed around courtyards in the city centre of Paris. If you are coming from the Arc de Triump, Louvre Palace is at the other end of Avenue des Champs-Élysées, the Paris famous shopping street. It is also the site for the Louvre Museum of Paris, which is another exciting yet famous travel attraction in Paris.  Louvre Museum is one of the world’s best museum in the world housing many of the great arts and historical ancient pieces, including the The Venus de Milo and the original painting of Mona Lisa. The huge pyramid steel and glass roof cum entrance at the centre courtyard is also a dominant attraction of the museum.

No any Paris tour will be complete without visiting to Louvre Palace, for at least once. Entrance fees would be charged to enter the museum though you will be able to witness a lot more great pieces than the British Museum in London.

Occupying an area of 40 hectares with pavilions that stretch towards 3 sides of the main Napoleon Courtyard at the centre, Louvre Palace is definitely THE architecture to be captured into our SD card. I was able to capture these pavilions of Louvre Palace in 3 shots covering an angle of view of 180°, or equivalent to a shot with a Fish Eye lens. These photos were then merged into a panorama image with PS Elements 8, as shown above. I like it! 🙂
