You can’t find anything like this in any other place in the world. The photo was taken in Barcelona on my Europe trip mkII last year. These are 2 famous architecture found in Park Guell, the creation of the legendary local Barcelona Architect Antoni Gaudi.

This is my 2nd post of the day. It’s rare for me to do this normally. It messed up my posting schedule but the news from Scoot Airline just held me back for anything else except sharing it with my readers right away!
What are you missing out on? Yes. Scoot airline, the latest budget airline from Singapore is now starting to accept booking! While today is just for members only, tomorrow is the first ever day for all other travelers to book the Scoot’s superbly cheap flights from Singapore to Sydney or Gold Coast, for only S$88.00! You can log on to their FlyScoot.com website tomorrow.
Fares are for sale from 21 March 2012 to 27 March 2012 (2359hrs – GMT+8) and available for travel from 26 June 2012 to 27 October 2012. The cheapest fare you can get is SGD 88.00 for one way to either Sydney or Gold Coast and SGD123.17 for one way back to Singapore.
Below is the breakdown of the respective fares:
From Singapore to either Sydney or Gold Coast
- Fare – $ 26.04
- Airport Imposed Pax Security Fee – $ 8.00
- Govt. Imposed Aviation Levy – $ 6.10
- Airport Imposed Pax Service Fee – $ 13.90
- Airport Imposed Intl. Pax Service Fee – $ 33.96
- Total fares is SG$ 88.00
From either Sydney or Gold Coast to Singapore
- Fare – $ 26.04
- Govt. Imposed Pax Movement Fee – $ 63.17
- Airport Imposed Intl. Pax Service Fee – $ 33.96
- Total fares is SG$ 123.17
Total Return air fares is SGD 211.17 and it is superbly cheap!
These are the only 2 flight routes on offer from Scoot airline. Now we will see how their fares to other Asian and Europe destinations in short future. Apparently Scoot is the latest challenger for AirAsia and AirAsia X. Scoot’s fares to Australia seemed to be really competitive if compared with AirAsia X’s fares, which is slightly more expensive!
