We went to the Malaysia’s famous weekend getaway, Genting Highland on the eve of year 2009 new year. As usual, we stayed in Ria Apartment and we joined the countdown party held at the main entrance of Genting Casino Hotel. Every year at this time, huge number of visitors rushed up the highland just to join the countdown partyt and fireworks watching! I managed to capture this moment where cars were bumper to bumper all the way up to the top. This traffic jam was actually not being improved until 5 a.m in the next morning!! (I witnessed the scene as I walked back to the apartment from casino at 4:30 a.m. :) )

    wow nice, your hotel room can see fireworks so clearly! I never have such experience before. Long time didn’t visit Genting highland. That’s happening too! =D

    nope, it’s my sis who was in New York. She was on a student exchange programme for a few months and she just returned to SG 2 days ago. I just published a post about their new year eve countdown at Times Square, with videos. :)
