Oh my god! I can’t imagine how am I going to sit upright in an Airbus without any onboard entertainment for 12 hours!! Why? I HAVE BOOKED AIR ASIA TICKET TO LONDON! After more than 10 years, I’ve finally got the chance (or gut?) to re-visit London! Of course, I’m hoping to visit the Top 5 Cities To Travel In Europe as well! I’ve been to London, Paris, Rome and Venice but not Prague which is why there is still a ‘missing-post’ in the my “Top 5 europe cities to visit” series! Hopefully this round I could personally see by my own naked eyes the infamous Prague before I conclude the series. :)

Going back to where I graduated in was always my dream for the past 10 years. Economic turmoil, reccession, depreciation of Malaysian Ringgit, family commitment were among the hurdles blocking me from doing so. “Now Everyone Can Fly!”. Air Asia is the one who finally encouraged and helped me to have my dream comes true!

Though I didn’t get the steal through their zero fares promotion last week but knowing that MAS was offering RM3,800.00 and SIA was RM4,600.00, I believe I still got a very low return airfares of RM1,800.00 all-in… didn’t I? Furthermore, I managed to travel in May, my favourite Spring season for Europe tour!

Ironically, MAS Airlines started their Special Low Fares promotion yesterday, the next day after Air Asia’s zero Fare promo. Was it a coincidence or the planned strategy of MAS? Sh*t! Don’t tell me I’ve got a wrong deal! Quickly logged on to MAS booking page, typed in the same date and day to London, and clicked “search” for their ELF price…. Phew! Not too bad. MAS is offering RM2,950.00 all-in. Still a grand more than my ticket…. Off course, it would be a totally different class of travelling. Who cares? I won’t pay an extra 1 Grand for checked-in luggage, onboard meals and movies and  some extra leg space! Most importantly, MAS marketing strategy really pissed me off. Why?

Why can’t MAS offer their best price in the first place and not just knocking down their price by half suddenly? What happened to those who have booked much earlier and more expensive with MAS thinking of getting something cheaper?

Well. I think Air Asia is doing a better job in this sense. Their seats are normally open for booking 9 months ahead of flight schedule. Normally, they would start off with the Ø Fare Promotion which means the earliest person to book would definitely get the lowest price! Fair play! To maximize their advantages, you just need to know some tips when booking Air Asia flights.

After all, I still got the cheapest air ticket to London at the time I decided to book. That’s it. Except that I have to train and do more exercise to my muscle in order to keep my body and organs in 1 place without moving for 12 hours! :)Travel Feeder.

What a steal! I am jealous. Haha
I’m curious about the leg space for the AirAsia X planes. Should be spacier than the regular AirAsia planes I guess.
