MAS best deals on international flights this fall

Thanks to the withdrawal of swapping shares proposal between Malaysia Airlines and Airasia, we as air passengers can now benefit from the intense competition back on these 2 airlines to get some really good deals on air ticket prices. Still remember how I got a massive MAS airlines discount for my flights to Beijing just before the collaboration idea from MAS and Airaisa? Ever since then, we have not seen any attractive promotional fares from MAS, which is understandably since they were going to be partners. But not anymore! Their fight for the local market share will back on again, and this Worldwide Sale from Malaysia Airlines just proved it.

MAS super deals

The MAS sale is from 30th July until 12th August 2012, for flights in between 1st August and 7th November 2012. Departure from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This is the best deal I have seen so far from MAS.

Take Beijing flights for example. Return flights to Beijing costs only RM1,200.00 all-inclusive, which is even cheaper than what I got a year ago. If you compare it with AirasiaX that offering the same itinerary where you still need to pay RM1,000.00 all-inclusive to fly with Airasia budget airlines, and with less comfort and convenient flight time.

Other notable deals include flights to Osaka, Japan for RM1,699.00, which is much lower than RM1,900.00, their lowest offering thus far since 2 year ago. I booked AirasiaX recently for Osaka during the same period for RM1,100.

If I’m planning an Europe trip this fall, I will book a MAS return direct flight to Paris which is now only RM2,899.00. Unfortunately, I defer my europe travel plan until next fall. By that time, I will keep my eyes on AirasiaX offer when they fly again to Europe next year, according to the recent news.

Anyway, if you love all that Phuket has to offer after reading my previous stories, the MAS flights to Phuket is now only RM469 both ways!

Hurry up! The promotion ends 12th August 2012. 🙂 – Travel Feeder, your ultimate travel photo guide
