Travel snapshot – The Copenhagen City Hall

Located at the Indre By (The inner city) of Copenhagen city centre, The Copenhagen City Hall is one of the attractive landmarks for tourists. Travelers coming to Copenhagen via rail will stop at the Central Station and the city hall is just one block away, with Tivoli theme park separating the two. There is a square in front of the city hall where major activities are being held and visitors from all parts of the city come in droves.

Copenhagen City Hall

It was my starting point to explore the city while I was on my travel to Copenhagen. The famous ‘Distortion’ street party from 29th May until 2nd June 2013 will start from here and extend towards the Norreport and the harbour areas.

When I passed by the city hall after the ‘Distortion’ street party 2 years ago, I spotted this amazing evening view of the architecture and quickly snapped it with my Nikon D7000. More stories on my travel to Copenhagen will be coming up next. Enjoy reading! 🙂 Travel Feeder
