I’m flying off to Japan today! See ya

I’m flying off to Japan today for my spring holiday! 🙂 After planning for more than 8 months since last year, I’m finally ready. I’m ready to explore the land of rising sun. I’m ready to communicate in a language that I’m totally lost. I’m ready to capture some magnificent views of the Cherry Blossom blooming and I’m ready to experience the 300KM/hr high speed bullet train of Shinkansen!

This is going to be a short 10 days sightseeing trip to some of the popular cities of Japan in Honshu and Hokkaido islands. After a 6 hour long haul AirAsia X flight to Kansai airport, we will go straight to Osaka. From Osaka, we will start to explore Kyoto, Nara, Kobe, Tokyo and Hokadate. As you know, cherry blossom full bloom has already passed in Tokyo and Kyoto, so in order to view the spectacular scenes of cherry blossom blooming, we will travel all the way up north to Hokkaido! We will travel from Tokyo to the Southern most city of Hakodate in Hokkaido to catch the full bloom.

Of course, apart from the Hanami, we will try some of the Japan best local cuisine, which include the sushi, sashimi, Kobe beef, fresh seafood, Shabu-Shabu and also Sukiyaki. That’s all? Not quite! No visit to Japan would complete without seeing their castles and temples which scattered all over the country, so I will capture as many as I can.

Unfortunately, based on the weather forecast, we could be caught in rains this coming 10 days! 🙁 Without good weather and bright sunshine, taking good travel photos could be a big challenge for me! On top of that, the Golden holidays in Japan currently are drawing huge local crowds to popular travel destinations around Japan as well as the local public transport. This could be another problem to us as we are traveling mostly by trains.

Having said that, I’m sure our travel to Japan will surely be an enjoyable and exciting one. Now is already 1 o’clock in the morning. My flight will depart in another 7 hours. Gosh! I need to take a nap. Until then, see ya! 🙂 – Travel Feeder, your ultimate travel photo guide to Japan.
