Ketsana!Tsunami!! You Both Just Pissed Travelers Off!

What a world! It’s so fragile and the natural disasters are so hostile! I was hopping mad when I read the news yesterday about the Ketsana tropical storm hit the capital city of Philipine, Manila. The city was flooded since last weekend and over 500,000 people are homeless while over 246 people were reported death.

Manila is always one of my top 5 “Must visit” city that I wish to visit one day. In fact, if not the world economic melt down last year and the Influenza A H1N1 strike in April this year, I would have visited Manila by now. Unfortunately, we could not control the natural disaster. It happened. It happened. It’s the same with SzeChuan earthquake when there was no symptoms at all before it happened. Our world is damn fragile…

Also learned from the newspaper headlines this morning is the strikes back of Tsunami! This round is in South Pacific Island of Samoa and American Samoa of west of  US. An earthquake with a magnitude of 8 had caused Tsunami storm in the area and the latest death toll currently is 28 people reported.

What’s happening to our world? Is it going to be destroyed by all these kind of disaster and disease in the very near future? Am I still going to be around? Or will countries be sunken under water one by one? Are we still going to see the beautiful sunshine and blue sky in Summer, and twilights and silhoutte in the winter?

First to be pissed off is off course our travel enthusiast. We are travel enthusiasts but not dare devils. We are die hard fans of travelling but not hard to die…

Anyway, we are human. We are so minute if compared with the universe. We cannot do anything to contain storm, flood, earthquake or whatsoever natural disaster. What we can still do while we are alive is to travel the world as soon as possible to see this fragile world once in our lifetime, to take as much photos of travel destinations as possible, before we all vanished into air. 🙂 – Travel Feeder.

p/s: Sorry for so moody and the sad story. I promise to post something cheerful after this…
