MERDEKA! MERDEKA! MERDEKA! For the first time in 52 years, Malaysia 52nd National Day is celebrated with limited access of participnts! The annual outdoor celebration event on eve of 31st August each year at Merdeka Square has been cancelled following the unstoppable threat of Pandemic H1N1 in Malaysia. The celebration on 31st August is carried out for 40 minutes only at Parliament square this year, first in 52 years, in conjunction of our Muslim counterpart’s fasting month or Bulan Ramadhan!
The celebration venue for the past Merdeka Day, the Merdeka Quare, is quiet this year without all tha stages and decorations… let take a look at it…

Though Malaysian flags are still seen everywhere…
Nevermind Malaysia. As our 2009 National Day slogan says, “One Malaysia”, let’s put hands together to create a harmoniuos society and healthy nation in this multi-religious and multi-racial country. Without Malaysia, I would not be able to blog about travel here in Travel Feeder. Thank you Malaysia!
This evening photo of KL city skyline is taken few days ago. Look at that! Kuala Lumpur is still as gorgeous as before. - Travel Feeder.
