Whether you’re after cheap holidays to Tenerife, a budget weekend in Paris or perhaps a five-star getaway in Greece at two-star prices, there are plenty of great deals and discounts to help get you there.

If you’re after a summer destination, one of the easiest ways to go away is to book a package holiday. You’ll find regular discounts by major tour operators such as Thomas Cook which are advertised throughout the year, ranging from low deposits and free room upgrades to chunky discounts and last-second price cuts. When you travel with a tour operator, you’ll find that the nearer you get to your departure date, the cheaper the holidays become. This doesn’t necessarily apply to every holiday, but it still means that you can choose from a wide selection of reduced holidays in various destinations.

If you don’t like the idea of booking late, you can secure great discounts by booking well in advance of your preferred departure date. Early bird deals are often available on brand new holidays that have just been released by the tour operator, and typically provide discounts or other incentives such as low deposits on a wide range of new holidays. By booking in advance, you also get longer to save up and to pay off the cost of your holiday, so it’s often the best all-round way to book your jolly.

So whether you fancy low-cost Cyprus package holidays, a trip to Athens or a fortnight on a cruise ship, there are tons of gorgeous getaways out there with prices that won’t cost the earth. It’s just a matter of finding your favourite… 🙂 – Travel Feeder
