Airasia fly to Xian China

A long-awaited flight for many travelers including me! Airasia X, the long haul operation of award winning Airasia low cost airline, is introducing a new flight route this week. Guess what? Airasia fly to Xian of China!

Airaisa will start flying to Xian China from 2nd July 2014. Travelers can now book for the flight with an introductory fare from as low as RM199. This offer is only valid until this Sunday, 27th April 2014, and for flights to Xian in between 2nd July 2014 to 30th April 2015.

Xian is arguably the most significant city in Chinese history. It is one of the birthplaces of the ancient Chinese civilization in the Yellow River area. Being the eastern gateway of the Silk Road and the site of the famous Terracotta Warriors of the Qin Dynasty, Xian has won a reputation among avid travelers and history enthusiasts. More than 3,100 years of history including over 1,100 years as the capital city of ancient dynasties, have endowed Xian with an extraordinary historical heritage.

Having said that, Xian always get overlooked by travelers, if compared with other popular travel destinations such as Beijing and Shanghai of China, mainly due to its remote location. It is located in the heartland of China in Shaanxi province, some 1,000 km away from Beijing and 1,388 km from Shanghai, which make it less accessible by average travelers. Unless you are flying with domestic flights in China, or taking more than 10 hours of local trains, there are only a handful of international flights could fly you to Xian.

Not anymore! Enthusiasts of ancient Chinese history can now explore the Eighth World’s Wonder of Qin’s Terracotta Warriors site by flying Airasia X direct to Xian from the new KLIA2 terminal of Kuala Lumpur. With limited time until this Sunday only, tremendous low return fares of only RM493 are available for booking!

Check it out on Airasia website now! I’ve already booked mine. What are you waiting for? – Travel Feeder, your travel photo blog
