Famous London Bus is celebrating 60 years of service

If you have ever been to London, or watched in TV programs, one of the iconic sights to be seen have to be no other but the red double-decker buses. They are the famous London Bus. Serving the public since its first appearance in 1954, this year 2014 marks its 60th spectacular years of service!

Thanks to the Refresh Accommodation blog, here I share this interesting infographic showing some of the cool facts about London Bus. I didn’t know this as well before. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Fascinating isn’t it? I couldn’t believe it either when I first read it. 60 years history of London red buses really means a lot to people in London as well as tourists. Though I still prefer the original look of the Routemasters, the new 2012 version of the London bus should still not to be missed if you ever come to London. Start planning your London and Europe trip now if you think of visiting them next year. Read my “From Travel To Photo” mini guide on some of the useful planning tips. – Travel Feeder
