My Cathay Pacific flight to Taipei checked in

The clock is ticking! Counting down to my first ever trip to Taiwan, I have my Cathay Pacific flight to Taipei checked in just within 48 hours of departure. Since I book the ground tour in September during MATTA fair 2013, quite a few incidences were happened in Taiwan. End of October, 6.5 Magnitude earthquake hit the North Eastern Taiwan that haulted the giant rubber yellow duck in Taoyuan city. Later in November, the Haiyan typhoon triggered a 26-foot waves that took eight lives in Taiwan.

Not only in Taiwan, we read a lot of other natural disasters reported around the world. Not to mention the recent Bangkok riots which caused by humans. Bad news are happening every day, and natural disasters will only get worse. So we shouldn’t wait to travel. Don’t let these incidences put you off. Go and see them yourselves before too late!

Sorry for so sentimental. Let’s back to my trip to Taiwan. I have high expectation from this trip. Besides the multiple photo taking opportunities in Taiwan (Well, every place, every object is always an opportunity for me to take photos! 🙂 ), I have heard enough those delicious local foods of Taiwan, Taiwan leisure farm stay, hot springs, and off course, the bargain hunting!

I will try to update this travel blog as I go along in Taiwan. So make sure you stay watching this space in these coming weeks! 🙂

Another photo project to accomplish on my trip to Taiwan, is to shoot some nice pictures and hope I could participate in the Time For Taiwan photo contest which runs from 1st December 2013 until 31st March 2014. 🙂

I’m finishing off my daily works now and will start packing my luggage. Everything should be ready before my Cathay Pacific flight to Taipei. Until my next update, I’m wishing all travellers who are departing for their holidays during this festive seasons a very smooth ride and have a fantastic trip ahead. See ya. – Travel Feeder
